Auto Collision 9: In this course, students will engage in hands-on training in general safety and safety equipment (personal and shop); safety rules, guidelines, practices, and regulations; and OSHA and Right to Know regulations. Students will also utilize hand tools; collision repair specialty tools; power tools and equipment. Students will study measurement, including standard; metric; distance; linear; liquid measurements; tolerances; and allowances and will learn to decipher service information; standards and specifications; manufacturer procedures and repair recommendations; sequential order; data collections; values; comparisons; and analysis. Students will also explore technology applications, including software, computers, and scanners.
